We have tested our Wix website using a speed testing tool. Both our Wix and WordPress websites were tested from the same location so that we get the most accurate results for our comparison. When testing our Wix website, we received the following results:

• Performance grade B 85;
• Page size 1MB;
• Load time 778ms;

Our load time was 778 milliseconds, which is less than one second and is an excellent load time for a website. We also need to consider the page size, which is only 1MB, so the 778 millisecond load time is great for such a small page. Our website also ranked pretty well with other metrics, which you will see in the photo below.

WordPress Performance

As we mentioned, we tested both our Wix and WordPress sites from the same location so that we can accurately compare them. When we tested our WordPress site, we received the following results:

• Page size 3.5MB;
• Load time 3.04ms;

As you can see, our WordPress website had a slower loading time compared to our Wix website.
