Israel’s Azrieli Group Acquires London Data Center Operator For $64 Million

The Israeli real estate developer Azrieli Group said on Sunday that it would pay 52 million pounds ($64 million) to acquire Infiniti SDC.

To achieve its rigorous sustainability criteria, Green Mountain intends to update and modernize the locations. The data center already uses only renewable energy, and it has a lot of potential in the future. It will receive a new name and be promoted as a Green Mountain destination.

For 7.6 billion Kroner ($822 million), Azrieli purchased Norway’s Green Mountain AS, which runs server farms, last year.

Danna Azrieli, who serves the role of Chairman at Azrieli, had the following to say:

Our vision is to continue developing gradually into several more international markets, and London is the ideal location from which to continue developing our data center platform.

The transaction’s completion, which is subject to a few conditions, is anticipated to happen later this year. Infinity SDC Ltd. was represented by CBRE in its position as a sole financial advisor, according to the company.

Stuart Sutton, who serves the role of CEO at Infinity SDC Ltd, had the following to say:

I am delighted that the Infinity Team and our East London Campus will become part of the highly successful Green Mountain business. It will accelerate the sustainable development of this key London location with immediate benefits for our customers and staff. Green Mountain has a vision to “Set the Green Standard,” which will bring a range of exciting options for our existing and future customers.

Truls Dishington, who serves the role of COO at Green Mountain, had the following to say:

I am pleased to welcome our new colleagues to the company; the experienced and competent workforce will complement the Green Mountain organization well. We look forward to merging the two work cultures, where operational excellence is at the heart of both businesses.

Israeli real estate development and investment firm Azrieli Group Ltd. is listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. High-security, cutting-edge, and environmentally friendly colocation data centers are designed, built, and operated by Green Mountain AS in Norway. Currently, the corporation has three data centers around the nation.
