GoDaddy, a domain registrar and web host has rebranded its Business Hosting offering as Web Hosting Plus. Customers who sign up for and utilize Web Hosting Plus may expect quicker loading speeds for their websites, higher performance, and an improvement in average server response times of up to over 40%, thanks to these most recent server hardware upgrades.
Several months have passed since GoDaddy made significant server hardware efficiency enhancements to their hosting platform before introducing this name change.
Web Hosting Plus is Linux hosting with cPanel, but it also has the strength and dedicated resources of a Virtual Private Server (VPS). However, there is no requirement for server administration expertise or experience, unlike VPS. The cPanel interface is identical to that of shared hosting.
The drawback of shared hosting is sharing server resources, such as RAM and CPU, with other users. However, it is a cheap way to get a website online. A more potent web hosting option with dedicated resources is a virtual private server or VPS. But unfortunately, it costs more than shared hosting and is operated with server administration expertise.
The innovative Web Hosting Plus strikes a compromise between shared hosting and VPS hosting, delivering the processing capability of a VPS in a manageable style akin to shared hosting.

Each Web Hosting Plus package includes dedicated CPU and RAM, unlimited free SSL security, everyday backups, global data centers, Installatron’s 1-click software installation, 24/7 network security, and premium support.
Improvements to the server hardware specifically include Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) Solid State Drives (SSDs), PHP OPCache, and Improved I/O Resources.
The first advancement will enable clients to experience up to a 7x performance increase with GoDaddy’s server NVMe SSDs compared to ordinary SSDs for websites that require a lot of resources. Furthermore, PHP scripts are now run only once and then saved in memory, which reduces server response times by 33% and speeds up all of the websites hosted on the platform. Based on the same tests taken from August 2021 through December 2021, this percentage was calculated. And finally, GoDaddy users are more likely to avoid websites that take a long time to load and to experience faster queries of huge databases when 80MB/s of I/O is allocated.
Ecommerce, high-traffic, resource-intensive, and sites currently hosted on a shared hosting plan will benefit most from Web Hosting Plus packages.
