Getting Started With The Plesk File Manager.

Access File Manager

Accessing the File Manager, you have to Login to Plesk and Click on Websites & Domains then select File from the Dashboard. Once you click Files, the File Manager tab opens, and one can easily access the files and perform several functions from the section.

The File Manager displays the files uploaded on the Website’s directories.

Upload.

Under this tab, you can upload files to File Manager.

New. On the File Manager, you can create a new directory by clicking on New and then Click Create Directory. Then you can write the name of the newly created directory in the text box, then click OK.

Copy and Move.

These functions allow you to either copy or move files from a different folder to another.

Remove

This feature is used to delete or remove a file from their existing folder or subfolder. You receive a message to prompt you to confirm whether to delete or not.

Extract

This functionality is used to unpack the archived files.

Add to Archive

Package The selected file into the archive. Then you get prompted to enter the name of the file.

Calculate Size.

It assists in calculating the size of the directory in which you choose.

Timestamp

The feature is used to update and check on the directory creation date or modified date.
